Often the hardest part of creating a change and making a decision is the very first step. Here you are, welcome.

Dr. Bernard founded and operates Summit Speak Psychological Services as a private practice. Dr. Rebeccah Bernard is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, providing services for clients in both New York and Maryland.

Summit Speak is a multi-faceted therapy hub that offers individual therapy sessions, group therapy, wilderness therapy, private and community-based workshops, and partnership with local organizations. In any of these settings, Dr. Bernard creates a space that is safe, deeply supportive, honest, and dedicated to purposeful reflection and progress. Her practice is individualized and begins with developing a therapeutic relationship of trust and mutual respect. Research again and again demonstrates that the most important factor of success in psychotherapy is the relationship between therapist and client. Meaning it has to be the right “fit” for you.

Dr. Bernard provides a space of self-exploration, where you will develop greater insight into the past and generate movement toward your desired future. Learning skills that can be put to use each day to increase your sense of control in daily life is also vital piece of your experience.

If this sounds like the right fit and or you would like to learn more about Dr. Bernard’s practice, feel free to email or call for a consult.
